The thing about this that’s a little off is that this was more of a science experiment than a money-making business venture. Did anyone really buy shares thinking this was going to be a money maker? I think people bought shares because this would be a different, fun thing to do – sounds like it was sold that way. So instead of caring about what kind of return they could get, investors thought it would be more fun to stir the shit.
