Warp’s Bleep digital music store is having a sale during a month of September. All Warp albums are $6.99.
Since January 2006, Bleep has been encoding its digital music in 320kbps MP3.
This may be a great time to explore some of Warp’s back catalog. For prices this inexpensive I typically try to buy a used CD, but if you’ve ever done this for Warp CDs you know how difficult it can be.
Want to check it out but don’t know where to start? Here’s my selection.
- Squarepusher – Go Plastic
- Prefuse 73 – One Word Extinguisher
- Jimmy Edgar – Color Strip
- Aphex Twin – Richard D. James
- Plaid – Double Figure
- Jamie Lidell – Multiply
- Boards of Canada – Music Has The Right To Children
I’ll probably check out some Anti-Pop Consortium or Black Dog.
