Best…Ad…Copy…Ever

Well, not really ad copy.

I’ve been looking at MIDI Pad controllers for drums and have been eyeing the Trigger Finger by M-Audio and the MPD16 by AKAI. M-Audio is known for entry/mid-level hardware while AKAI has been known for their killer MPC samplers.

MusikMesse (Europe’s NAMM show) just ended, and Akai has announced the MPD24.

And if you go to http://www.akaipro.com right now you’ll see an intro screen for the MPD24 that reads:

“At Akai, we set the standard for drum pad controllers, while others just gave you the finger.”

Excellent.
